The City of Penticton wants to know how residents are faring economically during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The city issued a call for residents and the business community to describe how the health crisis has affected them financially, issuing two emergency surveys today, April 8.

Local Penticton business owners can fill out one or both surveys.

The surveys can be completed online at the ShapeYourCityPenticton.ca website, or by calling the city’s call centre at 250-490-2345 to submit responses by phone.

Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed weekends, Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Surveys must be completed by midnight, Thursday, April 16.

“With so many people at home, all looking for new things to do, there’s never been a better occasion to complete a five minute survey on the future of our city,” Penticton Mayor John Vassilaki said in a press release.
