PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP are asking for the public's help to find the suspects involved in a shooting over a week ago.

RCMP say three suspects walked into the parking area of Fairhaven House, a housing complex located at 2670 Skaha Lake Rd., and approached the door of one of the units on Monday, Nov. 6, around 5 p.m.

Shots were fired in the direction of the unit and the parking area.

No one is believed to have been hurt in the incident, police spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a press release issued today, Nov. 16. Police were not called to the incident until the following day.

One suspect is described as a man wearing a light coloured ski jacket, dark pants and shoes, wearing a ball cap. A second suspect is described as a woman wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket, light coloured pants and shoes, and carrying a rectangle backpack.

Police have reason to believe several people witnessed the incident.

Penticton RCMP urge anyone with information who has not already spoken to investigators to contact Penticton RCMP’s general investigation section at 250-492-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
