Penticton RCMP seek arson suspect in connection to garage fire

Penticton RCMP are seeking the identity of this person, suspected in an arson in the city that took place Aug. 30, 2020.

Penticton RCMP are hoping the public can help them identify an arson suspect.

Surveillance video of a garage fire that took place at around 8 a.m., Aug. 30, at 686 Martin St. captured a suspect believed to be involved in the fire.

An attached garage had been deliberately set on fire, destroying the building and its contents. People were inside the residence at the time, however no one was injured.

Investigators are hoping the public may be able to identify the suspect shown in the above photo.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300, quoting file 2020-14976.
