Penticton RCMP are looking for family members who might be able to identify and claim a headstone police have recovered.

Officers came into possession of a headstone reading “Mary Ann Heath 1993-1995” on Jan. 14, according to an RCMP media release.

Police are hoping members of the family will come forward to retrieve the headstone.

Grandy says the headstone was found on a property in Penticton, but could be from beyond the immediate area.

The rightful owner is being asked to call Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
