Gas prices suddenly increased in Kelowna this week, while Penticton still has the cheapest price for a litre of regular in B.C.

Prices in Kelowna have been hovering around the 113.9 cents for a litre of regular gas earlier this week, but have since shot up to 128.9, according to Gas Buddy.com.

Currently, the cheapest gas in the province can be found at a Penticton Super Save on Green Mountain Road for 107.9 cents a litre. Earlier this week, fuel prices in Penticton ranged from 107.9 to 110.9, so the savings continue.

Vernon’s prices are comparable to Kelowna’s, sitting at 128.9, up from 117.9 reported earlier this week.

Kamloops's gas prices currently range from 116.9 to 129.9.
