A Penticton drug dealer got charged for dealing meth and fentanyl twice last week.
Penticton RCMP began investigating 31-year-old Yves Emile Wilfred Grenier earlier this year, according to an RCMP media release.
Grenier was believed to be selling illicit drugs, police said, and was eventually arrested after a months-long investigation.
His home in the 600 block of Pickering Street was searched, March 1, where police found “evidence consistent with him trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine,” RCMP said.
On Oct. 12, Grenier was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A day after Grenier was charged, he was caught again with possession for the purpose of trafficking. After he was arrested the second time, police searched his new home in the 200 block of Maple Street where multiple ounces of fentanyl, meth and cocaine were seized.
The Public Prosecution Service of Canada has approved additional charges against him, RCMP said.
Grenier remains in custody and is due in court Oct. 20.
