PENTICTON - Two forums being hosted by the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce will provide residents with the opportunity to meet and question candidates for mayor, council and school board.

The first forum on Oct. 1 at the Days Inn Riverside Conference Centre between 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. will focus on the councillor candidates. It will cost you $25 to attend, which includes a lunch.

The second forum will focus on the candidates for mayor and council at the Sandman Hotel in the Okanagan Room on Oct. 1 starting at 6:30 p.m. The $10 cost includes a light snack, with beverages available from a cash bar.

The candidates will speak to a table of attendees in a speed dating format before moving to another table. There will be 12 rounds of five minutes each for both forums.
