PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP arrested an assault suspect only to have him released later the same day.
Officers conducting daily downtown foot patrols in Penticton yesterday, Dec. 19, arrested a man they recognized as being associated with an ongoing assault investigation.
The 48-year-old man was released by police later the same day, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a press release.
Moskaluk says investigators will be forwarding their findings to Crown counsel for charge consideration.
