KAMLOOPS - Kamloops Rural RCMP say two active thieves are targeting vehicles in the Sun Rivers area.
Police say in a news release that the duo has been "skulking" around the community after 3 a.m. since Nov. 14. They've stolen items including wallets, computers and cash from Trillium Way, Sun Rivers Drive, Irongate Place, Ironwood Drive, Canyon Ridge, Talasa Court and Ironwood Street.
Police are reminding residents to remove any valuables from their vehicles.
In one instance yesterday morning, Nov. 15, RCMP says a witness saw the pair using a slim jim to break into locked vehicles.
If you are missing anything or had your vehicle broken into, you're asked to call the Kamloops Rural Detachment at 250-314-1800.
