A pair of Kelowna’s most well-loved coffee purveyors will be pouring their last cup of java — or Gio, as the case may be.
Giovanni and Lucy Lauretta announced via their social media today they’ve sold their popular downtown coffee shop, Giobean.
“Thank you for your loyal patronage of Giobean,” reads the message.
“After 11 successful years we have sold Giobean coffee shop to Eurobean Ltd. a local company owned by Jared and Gordon McIntyre.”
The Giobean coffee they made popular will continue to be served at the shop, and their bean blends will continue to be available for purchase in store.
“Thank you for your support of our business for more than a decade,” they wrote.
