Overturned logging truck snarls Hwy 97 traffic

Traffic was at a standstill for awhile this morning when a logging truck spilled on Hwy 97 north of Penticton.

PENTICTON - An overturned logging truck on Highway 97 just north of the city is slowing down traffic this morning.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. Police, fire and ambulance are on scene. Southbound traffic is moving slowly through the scene while northbound traffic is being sent on a detour through West Bench.
