A creative resident in Osoyoos saw the snow on their lawn as a seasonal art supply, and then brought a majestic frozen sculpture to life in front of their home.

The snowy creature appears to be a Stegosaurus, known for its plated-armoured back. The snow sculpture is at a home on 87 Street in Osoyoos.

The photo of the sculpture was taken by neighbour Cheryl Groves who said it was the highlight of her day.

"I had to turn around and have another look at it," she said. "Someone took time to make something to make people happy and I really appreciate their effort."
