Clouds and the threat of showers are in the forecast for several days this week in Kamloops.

KAMLOOPS - Kamloops residents can expect a cooler, wetter week as the temperatures return to more seasonal levels under mostly cloudy conditions.
Environment Canada says to expect showers and a risk of a thunderstorm today, Sept. 9, with winds west at 20 km/h and a high of 19 Celsius. There is a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight, with the risk of a thunderstorm in the evening, and a low of 14 C.
Tomorrow should see mainly cloudy skies with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and a high of 20 C. Cloudy periods are expected overnight tomorrow with a low of 14 C.
Sunshine returns Wednesday with a high of 25 C and a low of 11 C.
The clouds are expected to roll back in on Thursday with periods of rain beginning that night. Thursday’s high is expected to reach 23 C with an overnight low of 13 C.
A mix of sun and cloud is in the forecast for Friday with a high of 24 C and no mention of rain. Cloudy conditions are expected to prevail Friday night with a low of 13 C.
Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 23 C and lows of 9 C.
