COLDSTREAM – An ATV rollover in Coldstream yesterday afternoon sent one person to hospital.
Vernon Search and Rescue says volunteers were called at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 9, to assist B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics after an ATV rolled in Coldstream.
Two people on the ATV were trying to cross a steep hill in a small ravine when their vehicle rolled, injuring both of them, according to a media release.
One of them was hurt badly enough to be brought down the hillside on a stretcher to the waiting ambulance, the release says. That person was taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
No word on their condition.
