RCMP have arrested a 25-year-old Penticton man believed to have been involved with a robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Main Street where employees were threatened with bear spray.
A man and a women were involved in the Oct. 19 robbery but only the man has been arrested.

Police arrest him on Friday, Oct. 22, and he’s scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. He is well known to police.
“Robberies are traumatic events for victims involved due to the threat of violence or assault,” Const. James Grandy, from the Penticton RCMP, said in a news release. “Our officers take these crimes very seriously, and will make every effort to bring those responsible before the courts.”
A charge of robbery has been submitted to the B.C. Prosecution Service for their consideration, the release said.
