One month to go to renew Business Licences

Business owners operating in the City of Kelowna are reminded that 2018 Business Licence renewals are due on or before Jan. 15, 2018. Renewal notices have been mailed to all registered operating businesses within Kelowna.

Three renewal options are available:

  • Online with Visa or Mastercard at kelowna.ca/onlineservices
  • In person at City Hall (cash, cheque, money order or debit)
  • By mail sent to City Hall Business Licencing, 1435 Water St., Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1J4 (cheque or money order)

Updates and changes to an existing Business Licence can be made by calling 250-469-8960 or by e-mail at developmentservicesinfo@kelowna.ca.

For businesses that are no longer operational, a Business Licence can be cancelled by calling 250-469-8617 or by email at businesslicences@kelowna.ca.

Mobile businesses — those doing business in more than one community but with only one fixed location — can simplify licensing and reduce costs by obtaining a Mobile Business Licence for an additional $150 annual fee.

Having a valid Business Licence is a requirement to operate within the City of Kelowna. It is an offence to operate without one and may result in fines or additional enforcement action.
