WIMBLEDON, United Kingdom - Canadian Milos Raonic has been eliminated from the London Games after dropping a marathon three-set decision to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.

Tsonga broke Raonic's serve in the final game for a 6-3, 3-6, 25-23 victory.

The players shook hands and hugged at the net afterwards before Tsonga celebrated by dancing around the court and pulling at his shirt collar with joy.

The players were on serve early in the third set when a rain delay halted play for almost three hours.

They held serve upon returning to the court until Tsonga finally broke Raonic for the win.

Earlier, Aleksandra Wozniak of Blainville, Que., was eliminated from women's singles competition after dropping a 6-1, 6-3 decision to Venus Williams.
