Okanagan weather is a mixed bag this week

OKANAGAN - There’s no rhyme or reason to the Okanagan weather this week, according to the Environment Canada. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, since it does mean we’ll see some lovely days mixed in.

The forecast says the clouds return today, Nov. 7, bringing rain and a high of 14 Celsius. However, tomorrow offers a complete turnaround, with sunshine and a balmy high of 18 C.

That beautiful sunshine is expected to stay through Wednesday, although temperatures will return to a seasonal 13 C.

Alas, those grey skies are stubborn and the forecast calls for the clouds to roll back in Thursday morning with a high of 11 C.

The evenings will be partly clear this week, with lows staying well above freezing, between 4 C and 7 C.

Although we’ll be experiencing reasonably comfortable temperatures, don’t get too settled with the weather on any given day. The only constant in this week’s forecast is change.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 6 C and lows of zero.
