It appears a deer in Kimberley was still in the holiday spirit after it became entangled in some Christmas lights recently.
The B.C. Conservation Officer Service says in a Facebook post today, Jan. 29, a mule deer ended up having to be tranquilized after its antlers became entangled in some Christmas lights.
"Please be careful where you hang your lights, hammocks, and netting to avoid tangling up antlered wildlife," the post reads.
If you see an entangled deer, call the Report All Poachers Hotline at 1-877-952-7277.
