Offspring + Sum 41 tour is making a stop in Penticton

The Offspring + Sum 41 will be performing at Penticton's South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, along with special guests Dinosaur Pile-Up.

PENTICTON - Platinum selling band Offspring and Sum 41 have put together a Canadian tour that includes a stop in the Okanagan at Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre.

Offspring and Sum 41 with perform in Penticton on Friday, Nov. 29 along with special guests Dinosaur Pile-Up.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.

Offspring is just finishing their first album in seven years, recently recording with Grammy-winning producer Bob Rock.

The southern California based band’s debut album “Smash” is ranked the highest selling Indie album of all time at more than 10 million copies sold.

Offspring’s hits include “Self Esteem,” “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” and “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid."

Sum 41’s recent release of "Order in Decline” made the number two spot in the top 200, number one in rock and number one in hard music on Canadian album charts. The album has also had success internationally, making number two spots on U.S. current rock and hard music album charts, number three on U.S. alternative charts and number two in the United Kingdom rock and metal charts.

The group has sold more than 15 million records worldwide and have a grammy award nomination, two Juno awards, a Kerrang! award and multiple alternative press music awards to their credit.

Tickets will be available via a special pre-sale that takes place tomorrow, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.  Venue resale launches Thursday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m.
