Number of COVID-19 cases at Kelowna high school continues to grow

The third case of someone testing positive at Kelowna Secondary School in the last three days was announced yesterday, Nov. 17.

A School District 23 news release said a member of the school community tested positive for COVID-19.

It did not say if it was connected to two separate positive tests announced on Sunday.

At least three other cases were reported at the school earlier in the month.

All those who tested positive are at home self isolating.

There is no mention in the various news releases of whether these are staff or students or how many people they may have been in contact with at the school have also been sent home to self-isolate.

The Interior Health school exposure web site said there were potential exposures in the school on Nov. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 12.
