Residents across the Thompson Okanagan can look to the skies in the next few days if they remain clear to see the northern lights.
Daniel Greenwood captured a gorgeous shot of the aurora borealis on April 10 in Merritt. He said he was chasing the lights all night and managed to get the perfect shot at the right moment down a random road.
Weather permitting, the northern lights may be seen over many northern communities and in those sitting at slightly lower northern altitudes in the next few days, according to auroraforecast.com.
