A Fort St. John man was supposed to be in Kamloops, but his family reported him as missing when he failed to check in.

Jordan Dean Nande, 27, was initially reported missing on April 1 and there's no evidence he made it to Kamloops, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.

Nande also has a court-ordered curfew in Fort St. John and he was last seen by a probation officer in March. Kamloops RCMP started the investigation, but the Fort St. John detachment is following up the search in the northern jurisdiction.

His family last spoke with Nande three weeks ago when he told them he was in Kamloops at the time, according to the news release. Police didn't make clear whether he left the city or they believe he didn't make it to Kamloops at all.

He's described as Indigenous with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'10" and 154 lbs.

He has ties to Fort St. John, Fort Nelson, Williams Lake and "potentially" Kamloops, according to the news release.

Anyone with information about him can contact Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
