ENDERBY - RCMP are looking for leads in connection to an armed robbery in Enderby last weekend.
Just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, a man wearing a balaclava on his face entered a liquor store in the 1500 block of George Street in Enderby, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP do not identify the business.
The suspect pointed a sawed-off double-barrelled shotgun at the clerk and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
"The RCMP commend the clerk for following demands and not putting herself in harm’s way," Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP media liaison Const. Kelly Brett said in the release.
RCMP have not made a description suspect available to the media.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Vernon RCMP detachment at 250-545-7171.
