A big haul of moose meat was seized this week by the B.C. Conservation Officer Service in the North Okanagan.

The conservation office reported they seized "two cut and wrapped moose" on their social media channels today, Dec. 29.

"As a result of the investigation, charges against two people will be recommended to Crown counsel," the post reads.

"Meat seizures are usually either donated to a food bank, community shelter or local First Nation."

The conservation service did not name the accused or say specifically where they came across the moose meat.
