No sign of driver after motorhome fire near Enderby

ENDERBY - The sole occupant of a motorhome is unaccounted for after the vehicle was destroyed by fire.

Police were called to the north side of Hidden Lake near Enderby just before 7 p.m. June 12 for a single vehicle crash, according to a release by Vernon RCMP.

They found a motorhome destroyed by fire after it hit it a tree off road. Cpl. Kelly Brett said an RCMP service dog was called in to search for the driver but the sole occupant was not found.

"The North Okanagan RCMP is working closely with the family of the registered owner of the motor home, however the collision remains under investigation and no further details will be released at this time," Brett says.
