No shortage of things to do in Kamloops this weekend

KAMLOOPS - With fall in full swing, there are all kinds of activities this weekend in Kamloops.

Performances of Padova: The Untold Story and opportunities to Escape from Padova will happen multiple times per week until Nov. 3. The Untold Story is part of the Tranquille Tunnel Theatre, while Escape from Padova is Canada's only tunnel escape room. Tickets and more information on the events are available here.

Brewloops is back in Kamloops for another year, kicking off tomorrow night, Sept. 27, with a list of craft breweries on tap. A family-friendly block party will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 755 Fortune Dr., with five-dollar admission for adults and free entry for kids 18 and under. Buskers, magicians and other entertainment will be at the block party.

There will be craft beer, food trucks, bands, DJs, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars and more. Last call for purchasing beer tickets for the event is 3:30 p.m. and last call for beer is 3:45 p.m.

More entertainment will be around from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday with Yukon Blonde headlining the night. Local breweries and beers from across the province will be on tap. For more information and tickets, go here.

For all the mothers in the area who are looking for an event this Saturday, a breastfeeding challenge will be taking place at the Kamloops Farmers' Market. It's in conjunction with Canada Breastfeeding Week and the challenge is to have the most babies or children latched on and breastfeeding at the same time in the same location. Registration is 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and the event begins at 11 a.m. For more information go here.

CIBC's Run for the Cure takes place this Sunday, Sept. 30 with registration opening at 9 a.m., opening ceremonies at 10 a.m., warm up at 10:20 a.m., and finally the five-kilometre race will begin at 10:45 a.m. For more information on the event, go here.
