KELOWNA – Some of the best athletes in action sports will be taking dirt bike stunts to the next level in Kelowna this spring.

Nitro Circus recently announced that Kelowna would be a stop on their 2018 North American Tour.

The Next Level Tour will features what it calls the biggest ramps on the planet from breakthrough technology dreamed up at Travis Pastrana’s “Pastranaland” compound.

It was at a Nitro Circus event that Kelowna resident Bruce Cook was paralyzed attempting the first ever ramp-to-ramp double front-flip in 2014.

The 2018 Facebook event page says this year freestyle motocross riders will brave “outrageous contraptions” in a show too big to fit indoors.

“All of this makes for a show that is bigger, crazier and funnier than any Nitro Circus has ever done before,” it says.

The Next Level Tour happens 7 p.m. on May 25, 2018 at the Kelowna Apple Bowl.

Tickets will be available through the Nitro Circus website and Facebook page
