NINJAnow goes beyond food delivery services, by taking custom orders for groceries and alcohol. As they say on their website, “NINJAnow is a food ordering app that focuses on a great customer experience, a diverse range of cuisines, and fair pricing for our restaurants and other businesses. Simply put we are connecting hungry people with amazing food at a great price!”
Since COVID-19, NINJAnow has implemented Health Canada regulations and the drivers are well trained. For transactions, they encourage payment on their app as well as e-transfers - rather than taking machine payments at the door. They offer a 25 km delivery radius for customers who need their service, a policy that makes them unique in the industry.
We asked Cheryl Kerik, CEO and founder of NINJAnow to tell us about her career history in the delivery business. “I’ve been in the delivery/dispatching industry for 30 years,” she said. “I started as a delivery driver, then a dispatcher, and then I was running my own delivery company for years. After that I turned to developing my own internal dispatching software. I went through many iterations before NINJAnow was born, but our mission hasn’t changed to support local restaurants. I founded NINJAnow in 2018 with my business partner and we have been evolving ever since.”
Advancement in communication technology has helped grow the industry, as back in the 90’s dispatch was done over the phone and drivers carried CB radios. NINJAnow has grown to meet the demand in BC, Alberta and Ontario with expanded staff, a downloadable app, and website presence.
Download the App
There were over 800 app downloads in Kelowna and West Kelowna between June 12 to 22. It is clear that locals are interested in exploring the restaurant menus NINJAnow offers and need the expanded delivery radius for meals and custom deliveries.
With the app installed, it’s an easy tap to find a local business near you who will deliver-on-demand restaurant food, groceries and alcohol. Just place your custom order and the items show up at your door. To order food, choose your restaurant by clicking their logo, cruise the online menu, and place an order. It’s that simple to support your favourite local eats and stay at home.

Fantastic Results for Local Restaurants
Success proves true with local restaurants like Central Kitchen & Bar in Kelowna. They kicked off a self-promotion campaign on Facebook to introduce NINJAnow as their delivery service, and by the second night, had 16 orders for a total over $1000!
The benefits to restaurant owners are substantial and has evolved since NINJAnow first launched in 2018. Cheryl states, “The core benefit to restaurants has always been the same – keep more money in your pocket. Secondary to that, we provide one-on-one, local 24/7 restaurant support, and we are very hands-on with our restaurants. Restaurants can text our dispatch directly if they have a problem, and we can help them make changes to their online menu within minutes.“
The company’s regional managers are proactive, reaching out to restaurant owners with real-time customer service. Having local people in each region is helping them achieve their goals, including ensuring their restaurant partners are 100% satisfied.
How easy is it to sign up with NINJAnow?
“Signing up with NINJAnow is as easy as wanting it. All we need are the restaurant details such as the menu and hours of operation. We can have a restaurant up and running in less than five days. When they sign up, we ask them if they want to use stock photos or provide their own. They get the final approval on their online menu and our local managers will deliver marketing materials to their location. We can save them a lot of work and money running their own website. We give them a fleet of drivers and they don’t have to worry about payments so they can focus on marketing their own name. We charge them the same fee regardless of the size of orders – which is good for small businesses.”
If you own a local fooderie – restaurant, bistro, pub or other – and want to team up with NINJAnow, it’s an easy process. Visit them online at infotelmultimedia.ca/ninjanow to get started.
