VERNON - If you’ve been so focused on Christmas that you forgot to make plans for New Year’s Eve, we’ve got you covered.

There are plenty of events to choose from for every preference and every price range.

Pull out your dancing shoes and check out a Newfoundland New Year's Eve with local band Cod Gone Wild. The party is happening in the Kal View Room at Okanagan College and tickets, which include dinner, champagne, and party favours, are $85. If you want to skip dinner and just come for the dancing, tickets are $40.

Predator Ridge is putting on a 1950s themed New Year’s Eve celebration complete with gourmet food, cocktails and dancing. Tickets are $145.

Another themed event is the New Year's Eve 007 party at the Vernon Lodge. Dress up as your favourite James Bond character or Bond girl and enjoy a Casino Royale style party with a martini bar, craft beers, dinner, and music by the Legendary Lake Monsters. Tickets are $65.

Ring in the New Year in style at the Vernon Jazz Club where they’ll be getting the party started with Moni Funk

Marten Brewing Bar & Grill has good things brewing for New Year’s Eve as well. Enjoy games, live music, and of course beer. Tickets are $35.

You can also celebrate the New Year at Silver Star with the annual torchlight parade and fireworks. Enjoy night skiing until 6:30 p.m. then warm up by the fire and watch a parade of skiers weave their way down the mountainside.

*The Green's annual New Year's Eve party is already sold out.
