New pedestrian crossing signs on 200 block are, well, confusing

New pedestrian crossing signage on the 200 block of Penticton's Main Street could be confusing...

PENTICTON - Finishing touches are about all that’s left of the revitalization work on Penticton’s 200 block of Main Street, but some parts are a little puzzling.

Our readers noticed what might be one minor flaw. Pedestrian instructions for crossing the intersections of Nanaimo Avenue and Main Street and Westminister Avenue and Main Street might leave you confused.

We’ve got an inquiry into the city about the sign’s design - we’ll update you when we hear from them.
