KELOWNA - The new parking lot is now open for patients and visitors to the emergency department at Kelowna General Hospital.
Located on Royal Avenue between Long and Pandosy Streets, the lot is conveniently located directly across from the Emergency Department with 42 public pay parking spots available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. The hourly rate is $1.50 with a four hour limit.
There is also a section for Interior Health employees built into the lot plan.
The new parking lot is in addition to existing public parking at KGH as follows:
- East parkade on Rose Avenue, attached to the Clinical Academic Campus;
- Surface lot next to the parkade and accessed from Rose Avenue;
- Surface lot behind the Abbott Building, accessed from Abbott Street; and
- Surface lot under the lab building (Dr. Walter Anderson Building), accessed from Royal Avenue.
