OSOYOOS - A new Valentine’s Day TV movie that begins filming this week is being shot entirely in Osoyoos.
A Hand in Love is a ‘story about true love in an on again - off again relationship.’ The movie will feature a young couple dealing with business, a vineyard, a blog and a baby. The cast will be announced later this week.
Jon Summerland of the Okanagan Film Commission says they are pleased to have a movie being shot completely in the Okanagan.
“We are very pleased to have a (movie of the week) being shot in its entirety in the Okanagan. Osoyoos is not just one location in the movie, but THE location,” he says in a release. “This is one more step in the continued growth of the Okanagan’s film and television production business.”
The movie will be a Valentine’s Day TV movie of the week that will air on The Movie Network and ION Television.
A Hand in Love is being produced by Reel One Entertainment and Odyssey Media, both with offices based in Vancouver.
