KAMLOOPS - A new lab has opened on the North Shore.

The Interior Health Authority has opened the new lab in Northills Shopping Centre at 61-700 Tranquille Rd. as part of the Interior Health Primary and Community Care Services office there.

Staff will be able to process requisitions for bloodwork and standing orders from other Interior Health Authority labs, according to a media release.

The lab will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and closed on weekends and holidays.

There are two other labs run by the Interior Health in Kamloops, one at 1315 Summit Drive in the Tudor Village and the other at Royal Inland Hospital.
