A new flight route from Kelowna to Prince George aims to help connect the two regions.
Pacific Coastal Airlines has announced it is going to start running flights between the cities starting at the end of October, according to a release from the airline issued today, July 15.
"Our new route offers customers enhanced access to convenient travel between northern B.C. and the Okanagan," Pacific Coastal Airlines vice president Johnathan Richardson said in the release.
"We're grateful for the strong support of our newly added flights and are eager to continue to expand our services throughout the province."
The first flight takes off on Oct. 28, and travellers can start booking flights now.
The route will be flown with Beechcraft 1900 planes six times a week, once every day except for Saturday.
