An upcoming series of performances at Kelowna Community Theatre will be online only.
Spin and high intensity interval training at Parkinson Recreation Centre are no more and other bookings in that facility may be cancelled.
These are just some of the actions announced it will take now that provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has imposed numerous tough new rules to try to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

Information about affected recreation programs and safety guidelines will be posted online at kelowna.ca/recreation in the coming days, according to a City of Kelowna media release.
There will be no spectators allowed at City or league-run sports events.
Funerals at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery are limited to a maximum of 10 people, including the officials.
A number of City services, such as paying parking tickets and applying for business licences can be done online here.
