Costco does not have a date to announce yet for the opening of its new store in Kelowna but the gas pumps look to be nearing completion.
Original plans were to have the warehouse open before the end of the year but that’s not going to happen, Martin Groleau, the company’s vice-president for e-commerce, told iNFOnews.ca today, Nov. 19.
“Usually we open the gas stations earlier than we open the warehouses,” Groleau said. “I don’t see that situation to be any different. I would expect the gas station to open before we open the warehouse.”

The gas station has three rows of four double-sided pumps for a total of 24 pumps.
It’s on Baron Road and is separated from the warehouse parking lot by Durnin Road. The warehouse itself is bounded by Baron, Leckie and Springfield Roads.

Once completed, the warehouse will cover 167,023 square feet and there will be 787 parking stalls.
The new Kelowna Costco warehouse is scheduled to open early in 2022.
