A Nelson physiotherapist claims personal protective equipment has gone missing from storage areas at Kootenay Lake Hospital.

Jackson Giroux said in a video recently posted to Facebook that he is upset about the thefts. The video has since been removed from this page.

Giroux said in the video masks, gowns, gloves and even specialized masks that are to be worn when treating COVID-19 patients are now in short supply.

He is asking people in Nelson to sew masks out of cloth that could be to donated to the hospital.

He also posted pictures of some of the missing products to his Facebook page and asked people to return them. Those pictures have also been removed.
