Beset by requests for webinars with “actual facts and useful information,” about COVID-19, Kelowna-Lake Country MLA Norm Letnick is scheduling three events this week.
“Taking direction from our community, I’ve organized three virtual town halls with subject matter experts,” he posted on his Facebook page.
The first group of experts are politicians from three levels of government: Kelowna-Lake Country MP Tracy Gray, Kelowna West MLA Ben Stewart, Kelowna-Mission MLA Steve Thomson and Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran.
The first town hall is scheduled for tomorrow, March 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Anyone wishing to watch can register at teamokanagan.com. Questions can be asked live or can be emailed in advance to Letnick at asknormletnick@gmail.com.
Two more town halls are planned for later this week but details have not been announced. One will be on schools and the other is on health.
