OTTAWA - NDP Leader Tom Mulcair says the campaign for the next federal election has already started.
He's telling his caucus the party is ready for the vote, which is expected in the fall of 2015.
And he's aiming at the Liberals as much as Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservatives.
Mulcair says people have seen their incomes stagnate under both the Liberals and the Tories.
He says the NDP wants to reach out to families and seniors, and he's promising to roll back the Conservative effort to eventually raise the retirement age to 67.
He's also pledging more money for health care and improvements to the employment insurance system.
