Naked yoga practitioner caught aligning her chakra in downtown Trail

A BC yoga practitioner has learned that not everyone is as impressed with her downward dog as she is – particularly when it bears too much flesh.

A 33-year-old Quesnel woman was found practicing yoga naked in downtown Trail last week.

While improving your flexibility and aligning your chakras is touted as a way to mindfulness by some, clearly some residents weren't happy with it.

Trail and Greater District RCMP got a call about the naked yogi just before 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22.

"Officers located the woman who agreed to put her clothes back on, and move on from the location," a Trail and Greater District RCMP media release says.

The RCMP doesn't give out any details of why the 33-year-old decided to bare all for her morning yoga routine, but they were happy with one aspect of her practice.

"She was wearing a baseball hat, and that is highly recommended to help avoid heat stroke in these hot temperatures" RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich said in the release.

The RCMP didn't include a photograph with the media release.
