TORONTO - Just a few days after declaring he needed to "slam on the breaks" because he was feeling "pretty miserable," Deadmau5 has announced a new album.

The 31-year-old electronic music producer from Niagara Falls, Ont., will release "> album title goes here <" on Sept. 25.

Following his collaboration with the Foo Fighters at the Grammy Awards this year, the 13-track collection finds Deadmau5 — whose real name is Joel Zimmerman — dipping his toes into rock once again, with My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way singing on lead single "Professional Griefers"

Other confirmed guests for the album include Grammy-winning British singer Imogen Heap, West Coast hip hop legends Cypress Hill and Chris James.

Many of the songs have been available online already as rough edits.
