The Central Interior Traffic Services in Ashcroft received a report of a  two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 99 today, June 21, at 11:05 a.m, according to a media release issued by the B.C. RCMP.

The commercial vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 97 when it collided with a passenger car travelling north on Highway 97. Police say the car was turning left onto Highway 99 when the crash occurred.

All three people in the passenger vehicle were killed.
