Movie shot in Penticton now streaming on the little screen

A feature film shot in Penticton is now streaming on Amazon Prime. "Drinkwater" is a coming-of-age story about a dorky Penticton teen who chases after a popular girl, while also navigating a strange relationship with his father and a new friendship with the girl next door.

A feature film shot in Penticton is now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Drinkwater is a coming-of-age story about a dorky Penticton teen who chases after a popular girl, while also navigating a strange relationship with his father and a new friendship with the girl next door.

The movie stars Daniel Doheny as the teenager and Eric McCormack, of Will & Grace fame, as his father. It was produced by Penticton Vees owner Graham Fraser.

Local audiences will appreciate the familiar locations.

Munson Mountain, the SS Sicamous and Penticton Secondary School are all prominently featured. The characters even attend a Vees game at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The movie can be streamed anytime with a subscription to Amazon Prime.
