Mounties seek help to find Williams Lake man evacuated to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - RCMP are asking for the public's help to find a missing Williams Lake man who has been living in Kamloops since being evacuated by wildfires.

Police say David Michael Jeff, 67, was last seen in Kamloops on Friday, Aug. 4.

Jeff was evacuated from his home in Williams Lake in July and has been staying in Kamloops since then, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP describe Jeff is an Aboriginal man who stands about 5’5" tall and weighs 146 lbs. with grey shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

If you have seen him or have any information regarding his whereabouts you are asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
