PENTICTON - South Okanagan ski enthusiasts can begin preparations for a new ski season at Mount Baldy.

Lift maintenance will get underway this month on the hill’s Eagle chair and season passes are expected to be available for purchase starting on Wednesday, Oct. 21, according to a post on the resort's website.
Opening day is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18.
