Mostly grey and wet in Kamloops this weekend

This weekend's weather in Kamloops won't be the best for outdoor activities, with rain and cloudy skies in the forecast.

KAMLOOPS - There is lots of grey in the Kamloops weather forecast for this weekend.

Environment Canada meteorologist Bobby Sekhon says a frontal system will bring showers to Kamloops this today, Nov. 1, which are expected to taper off tonight.

Tomorrow, conditions will improve somewhat before another system makes its way to Kamloops, with a mainly cloudy day forecast for Friday, along with a 40 per cent chance of showers.

It should also be considerably warmer tomorrow, from today’s anticipated high of 9 Celsius to a high of 14 C Friday.

Cloudy conditions are expected through Saturday with a high of 10 C. The rain is expected to return Saturday night, and continue through Sunday with a high of 11C.

A 40 per cent chance of showers is expected for the start of the new work week on Monday, with high of 7 C.

Sekhon says the city is seeing a return to a more fall-like weather pattern, with gradually cooling temperatures expected over the next week.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 8 C and lows of 0 C.
