KAMLOOPS - The world-renowned Moscow Ballet will be coming to Kamloops in November to perform the classic Nutcracker.

This year marks the 25th consecutive year the ballet is touring North America and features award winning dancers, according to the ballet's website.

Performances across the Americas include the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and Cinderella.

Graduates from some of the top ballet schools in the world will be performing in the Great Russian Nutcracker, the ballet says.

That ballet will be featured at Kamloops’s Sage Brush Theatre leading up the Christmas season. The only other B.C. stops on the tour are in Victoria and Vancouver.

There will be two performances on Nov. 13. One will be a matinee at 3 p.m. and the second performance will begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are expected to go on sale soon.
