Kelowna’s largest private sector employer is holding a job fair in an effort to expand its workforce by more than 100 workers.
The career fair is being held next month at KF Aerospace at the Kelowna airport.
The open house-style event will show perspective employees the ins and outs of both the skilled trades and entry-level jobs, according to a KF Aerospace media release.
“For our entry level roles, we provide on-the-job training that allows you to work towards a nationally recognized certification,” human resources manager Susan van Unen said in the release.

There will be guided tours of the facility and opportunities to meet KF staff. Okanagan College will have representatives to talk to prospective students about the aircraft maintenance engineer training programs.
The company needs to fill over 100 jobs by 2023 due to the growing demand for aircraft maintenance and modification services.
“We are increasing both staffing and hangar space to accommodate our upcoming passenger to freighter conversion program for Boeing and our aircraft leasing division,” chief corporate services officer Grant Stevens said in the release.
