KELOWNA – For the second time this month a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force flew fighter planes over Kelowna.
Maj. Robert Frank confirmed the loud noise heard over Kelowna the morning, July 28, was two CF-18 Hornet on a training mission.
Two weeks ago on July 12 half a dozen RCAF students from Cold Lake, Alta. took part in training exercises over Kelowna in McDonnell Douglas CF-18 fighter jets.
Maj. Frank says the planes that landed today at the Kelowna Airport likely originated from Cold Lake.
